4-F Rail Jam Round 2 at Mt Hood SkiBowl. Skibowl’s 4-F Rail Jam Series dates are January 13 and February 10. 4-F stands for Fan Favorite Feature Friday, where riders can submit their ideas for features they would like to see. The Terrain Park crew incorporates those requests into the design of the course, because, as McDonald puts it, “Riders know what they like and we want to give it to them.” can compete in one or both of the events.

Steeps Clinic at
Mt Hood Meadows. Available to advanced and expert skiers and riders. These clinics are designed to improve your ability to ski steep ungroomed terrain. We will work on maintaining rhythm and flow through all terrain and conditions while exploring some of the best known and unknown runs at the resort. Groups will be divided based on skiing / riding ability and desired terrain. This clinic is taught by our most certified and strongest skiing / riding pros.
REI Nordic Day at Mt Hood Meadows. Join REI and Mt. Hood Meadows Nordic Center for a day of cross-country skiing. Never tried the sport before? Let us show you how with free lessons from Mt. Hood Meadows and free gear rental from REI Portland.

Women's Clinic at
Mt Hood Meadows. For women and taught by our most certified and experienced female instructors. Work on your skiing/riding in a fun supportive environment. Participants will be grouped based on ability and the focus will be on improving your skills so you can ski/ride more confidently and in more conditions. Available to intermediate and above skiers and riders.
Mountain Photo Workshop at Mt Hood Meadows. Want to learn to shoot snow photos like a pro, while spending a fabulous day on the mountain? The photo workshops offered by Grant Myrdal Photography allow this unique opportunity, exclusive to Mt. Hood Meadows. Targeted specifically at snow and mountain shooting, the full day workshops equip you with the tools to create spectacular photos in all conditions.
Chairway 2 Heaven at Mt Hood Meadows. Mt. Hood Meadows presents “Chairway 2 Heaven” – speed dating on its Blue chairlift. There will be two “singles” lines – one for women and one for men. In total randomness (which is an awesome way to start a relationship) the singles will be paired up on the Blue chairlift for a nine-minute ride to the top. The couple can decide if they want to take some runs together, go off to another chair lift, or split up and take another shot at a speed date.

Timberline Ski Area. This is where the big boys come to play, Medium to Large features, advanced level riding, and cash prizes. Prepare to see the best up and comers on Mt. Hood duke it out on the best freestyle terrain in the Northwest.

Ski the Glade Trail, 10th Annual Fundraiser for the Mt Hood Cultural Center and Museum. Includes continental breakfast, ski shuttle, lunch, apres ski party and prizes. Reservations required.
